• AUDIENCE

  This certification prep course is designed primarily for:

  • Individuals seeking PMP certification
  • Experienced project managers who are seeking advancement or more information

  There are no admission requirements to take this program; however, to be eligible to sit for the PMI鈥檚 PMP exam, you need to meet all education and experience prerequisites in one of the following two categories:

  • Classes are held from 6 - 9 p.m. Monday evenings
  • Classes will be held online utilizing Zoom and an online resource center
  • Please be sure to register early to ensure you receive the PMP 2025 Learning System prior to the course start. Later enrollments may have delayed delivery of materials.

• INSTRUCTOR

  Ryan Stewart

  An accomplished Senior Program Manager, Ryan Stewart brings over a decade of leadership experience across diverse sectors. Currently serving as the Deputy Commander for Support Activity Monterey (NSAM), he reports directly to the Commanding Officer, overseeing the development and implementation of comprehensive plans for Installation Base Operations Support and Shore Installation Management. Prior to NSAM, Ryan served as the Director of Logistics and Facilities at the Naval Postgraduate School (NPS) from 2020 to 2023. Leading a team of nine employees, he ensured seamless operations across multiple locations. Ryan's responsibilities encompassed the development and implementation of strategic plans, policies, and procedures to optimize business processes, reduce costs, and enhance productivity. In his role as the Director, Command Operations at the Naval Information Warfare Systems Command (NAVWAR) from 2018 to 2020, Ryan demonstrated his prowess in overseeing large-scale projects. He led planning and execution efforts, collaborating closely with clients and stakeholders to define project requirements, scope, and deliverables.

  Ryan's commitment to Project management Profession is evident in his role as an Instructor in Project Management at California State University San Marcos from 2017 to 2020. Here, he not only developed and delivered project management training programs but also received an exceptional average student satisfaction rating of 95%. His ability to create engaging learning experiences and stay abreast of industry trends added depth to his instructional role. Ryan Stewart holds an M.A in Human and Health Administration from the University of Oklahoma, an MBA with a Specialization in Organizational Leadership from National University and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) from PMI since March 2015. Additionally, he completed Lean Six Sigma, Green Belt Training from Syracuse University in May 2015. With an extensive and diverse background in project management across military, academic, and governmental settings, Ryan Stewart is poised to bring a wealth of practical experience and insights as a Project Management Certification Course Instructor. His commitment to excellence and proven track record make him an invaluable guide for aspiring project managers.
