An accomplished Senior Program Manager, Ryan Stewart brings over a decade of leadership experience across diverse sectors. Currently serving as the Deputy Commander for Support Activity Monterey (NSAM), he reports directly to the Commanding Officer, overseeing the development and implementation of comprehensive plans for Installation Base Operations Support and Shore Installation Management. Prior to NSAM, Ryan served as the Director of Logistics and Facilities at the Naval Postgraduate School (NPS) from 2020 to 2023. Leading a team of nine employees, he ensured seamless operations across multiple locations. Ryan's responsibilities encompassed the development and implementation of strategic plans, policies, and procedures to optimize business processes, reduce costs, and enhance productivity. In his role as the Director, Command Operations at the Naval Information Warfare Systems Command (NAVWAR) from 2018 to 2020, Ryan demonstrated his prowess in overseeing large-scale projects. He led planning and execution efforts, collaborating closely with clients and stakeholders to define project requirements, scope, and deliverables.
Ryan's commitment to Project management Profession is evident in his role as an Instructor in Project Management at California State University San Marcos from 2017 to 2020. Here, he not only developed and delivered project management training programs but also received an exceptional average student satisfaction rating of 95%. Ryan Stewart holds an M.A in Human and Health Administration from the University of Oklahoma, an MBA with a Specialization in Organizational Leadership from National University and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) from PMI since March 2015. Additionally, he completed Lean Six Sigma, Green Belt Training from Syracuse University in May 2015.
