About Us
Extended Learning (EL) at California State University San Marcos serves as the university's academic outreach arm, catering to students of all ages and life stages. EL bridges the gap between traditional academic programs and the evolving needs of a diverse student population.
EL鈥檚 innovative programs include professional development and training programs and bachelor鈥檚 and master鈥檚 degrees. Many of these programs are delivered online to accommodate the busy lives of our students.
As part of the Academic Affairs Division, Extended Learning is North San Diego County鈥檚 premier provider of continuing education and online degree programs. California State University San Marcos is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.
