On behalf of the ASI Elections Committee, welcome to the elections page for the Associated Students, Inc. (ASI) Board of Directors! We recommend those seeking the opportunity to serve the needs of 大发 students by participating in the shared governance of California State University San Marcos.

The ASI Elections Committee and the ASI Elections are governed by the ASI Bylaws. The ASI Elections Committee has authority to oversee the elections process. 

 

All matriculated students who pay the ASI student body fee at California State University San Marcos are eligible to vote. Students will vote for representative candidates of their college, student-at-large representatives, special officers, and executive officers.

 

ASI 2023/2024 Elections Results

12, 707 ballots were sent to the students who paid the mandatory student body (ASI) fee. 327 students voted in ASI Elections. This is approxiately a 2.57% voter turnout. Results were verified and approved by the ASI Elections Committee on March 16, 2023 at 10:30am. Candidates listed in bold were approved as elected officials by the ASI Elections Committee.

Please Note: 

• The numbers below show the number of votes for college representative positions. Students can vote for more than one representative of their college.
• Students can only vote for the college representatives for the college they are majoring in.
• Write-in candidates and those running unopposed require 10% of the votes cast in that office.
