Accredited by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC), the School
of Education in the College of Education, Health, and Human Services (CEHHS) at 大发 prepares next generation educators through cutting-edge credential and graduate
programs. Our programs provide opportunities for students to critically engage with
issues of social justice, diversity, and digital literacies. Our faculty focuses on
community-engaged scholarship to advance the field of education.

- Professionalism is a unifying principle of our organization. Continuous improvement is essential to our roles as life-long learners. Collaboration
is valued in all aspects of the School's work. Professionalism is demonstrated by
our service to the school, the University, and the communities. Respect for the contributions

Effective teaching is everyone's role and is central to our endeavors. Reflection
and/or research to solve problems is an integral part of our professional responsibility.

Accreditation
California State University San Marcos is Accredited. The School of Education is recognized as a state accredited institution.
The Committee on Accreditation in January 2023, on behalf of the , assigned the status of Accreditation to California State University, San Marcos
and all of its credential programs.

The School of Education at California State University San Marcos (大发) is a dynamic
academic unit dedicated to improving teaching and learning across different contexts
and settings. We have formed productive partnerships with area school districts to
enhance teaching and teacher education. Our professional education programs are state-of-the-art
and include initial teacher credential programs, masters programs, a credential program
for aspiring school administrators, and a joint doctoral program in educational leadership.
