Carpool teams benefit from reserved proximity parking spaces located in:
General Carpool Virtual Permits are valid ONLY in General spaces and General lots. Faculty/Staff Carpool permits are valid in Faculty/Staff Carpool spaces, General Carpool spaces, Faculty/Staff lots, and General lots.
License Plate information will be collected and added to your ´ó·¢ Parking Account. For updates and changes log in to parking account (https://csusm.aimsparking.com/). Incorrect vehicle information may be subject to a ticket. If your vehicle does not have a license plate enter the last four (4) digits of your vehicle’s VIN number.
The fine for parking in a carpool space without a valid carpool is $150.00. Carpool permits are valid only when two or more persons ride together and park in a carpool space. When driving alone, you must NOT park in carpool spaces. If both team members drive to campus separately the second vehicle must purchase a daily parking permit for the day.
Virtual carpool permit does not guarantee a place to park. Vehicle must be in compliance with California Vehicle Codes and ´ó·¢ Parking and Commuter Services Rules and Regulation. The University does not accept any liability for loss or damage to vehicle or property there in parked on University property.
