Parking Adjudication FAQ's

• I have a permit but just forgot to display it, can't you just void this ticket?
   No. Parking Adjudication must adhere to California law and process parking tickets in a legal manner.
• I appealed my ticket 2 weeks ago; when will I know the outcome?
  This process may take anywhere from 1 to 12 weeks to complete. The Administration Review Determination letter will be mailed to you at the address you provide. You can also . 
• I appealed my parking ticket, should I also pay the penalty amount?
  Not yet. If you have appealed a parking violation, the parking violation penalty is suspended until a decision is made on the appeal/administrative review.
• Will late fees be added to the penalty amount if it is still in the appeal process?
  No. Late fees are only attached if the penalty amount is not paid within the time allotted. If you received your appeal/administrative disposition results and it was upheld, a late fee will be placed on the penalty amount after the due date if no action is taken.
• I have parking tickets attached to my DMV registration, how can I pay these?
  Parking tickets can be paid with your DMV registration or at Parking Adjudication. If you would like the DMV Hold to be immediately removed, we recommend paying the ticket at the DMV. Parking Adjudication will remove the violations from the DMV registration upon receipt of payment - which may take up to one (1) month to receive.
• I have a CSU hold for parking tickets. When will this be removed?

  The CSU hold will be removed when the ticket penalty amount is paid in full. 

  If ticket is paid at the DMV, it may take up to one (1) month for confirmation to be received from the DMV.  Bring confirmation of ticket payment made at the DMV if you need the CSU hold removed sooner.

• I got a ticket but not a Notice of Delinquent Parking Violation. Why didn't I get this?
  The Notice of Delinquent Parking Violation is mailed to the registered owner's address that is on file with the DMV. It is the registered owner's responsibility to update the DMV with a current mailing address.
• What is the difference between a parking violation and a parking ticket?
  Simply put, a violation is the "offense" of violating a parking rule and regulation. A ticket is the actual notice that is placed on the vehicle notifying the person in charge of the vehicle that a violation has occurred.
