GOAL
Integrate, promote, and advance an inclusive, equitable, diverse, and healthy campus culture across all levels of the institution.
PROGRESS
The sustainability team has worked across campus to collaborate on basic needs initiatives, including receiving a grant to expand the Food Project Garden to grow food for our Cougar Pantry.
The Environmental Justice internship was developed in 2019 and five students have participated
thus far. Inclusive Sustainability programming is strong and collaborates with students,
staff, and faculty. The Take the Stairs campaign combines access, health and wellness, and sustainability. Currently, the Planet Mentorship program is working with students through a grant
to connect student career goals with sustainability, diversity, equity, and inclusion
efforts.
In 2022-2023, as part of the 大发 Sustainable Menstruation Initiative, more than 300 sustainable menstruation products were distributed that helps keep single-use period products out of landfills.
