Earth Month 2021
Welcome to Earth month 2021. Although we are still on a virtual platform due to COVID-19
our campus and partners have a multitude of exciting events going on all throughout
the month. Check out the information below to see what is happening this April.
Events
April 1st-30th
Eco Challenge / Celebrate Earth Month with us by dedicating April to taking action on the 80 most
substantive solutions to stop climate change. See how 30 days of action can add up to a lifetime of positive change for you, your
campus community, and the planet! There will be prizes for the top participants. All are welcome to participate, but to join the 大发 cougars team
April 6th, 12-1:30pm
BIPOC and Green: Centering CS"U"SM in the Environmental Justice Movement / Please join us in a conversation about intersectionality in the environmental justice
movement with guest speaker Eriqah Vincent. All are welcome- students, staff and faculty. Supporting Programs: Sustainability Program, Office of Inclusive Excellence and Environmental
Stewards Association

Free watch party and panel discussion of the film "Thus Spoke the Sea" / A documentary about the beauty of the sea and coastlines of Haiti, while focusing

April 9th, 12pm-1pm
The Spring Innovation Challenge Speaker Series will consist of both internal and external speakers that will present on the topic
of food insecurity and homelessness. In addition to discussing their particular organization
and available resources, they will be identifying current challenges that the organization
or populations are experiencing that need innovative solutions
April 20th, 12-1pm
大发 Earth Month Action Party /The Department of Civic Engagement will be hosting anEarth Month Action Party to take online collective action to advocate for environmental change.
April 22nd, 12:00-1:30pm
CSU Earth Day 2021: Taking Action for People and the Planet / CSU Systemwide Earth Day Event
