Student Poster Showcase

The next Student Poster Showcase will be held on December 4, 2025.

What is the Student Poster Showcase?

The Student Poster Showcase is hosted by the Committee for Undergraduate Research (CUGR) at the end of the fall semester to promote student research and creative activity accomplishments. This free research activity is open to all 大发 students in all disciplines and provides a valuable opportunity for students to present their work in a non-competitive environment.

2024 Digital Program
  • When: Tuesday, December 03, 2024 
  • Where: USU Ballroom
  • Time: 12:00 - 1:00 PM
  • All disciplines encouraged to apply. Examples include, but are not limited to, the following: 
      • Independent research
      • Literature survey
      • Course-based undergraduate research (CURE) projects
      • Creative Activities
      • Summer Research
  • Open to Undergraduate and Graduate students
  • Application Deadline: November 18, 2024 at 5:00 PM *
Application Prioritization:
1. Faculty-Mentored RSCA
2. Upper-Division CUREs
3. GEL

Submitting an application does not guarantee participation. At the end of the application period, all applications will be reviewed, and students will be notified of their acceptance status through their 大发 email account. 

Application Process

  • InfoReady Account

    Applications are accepted through

    When you click you will be prompted to login. You can do this through the 大发 DUO feature.

    If you do not already have an InfoReady account, you may be prompted to create one. Use your school email and check it regularly, all correspondence will be sent through this address.

  • Complete the Application

    Complete the application and provide a brief synopsis or short description of your project. Ensure that your descripton is between 150-300 words.  

  • Group Submissions
    • Designate a Leader: Choose one person to submit the application on behalf of the group.
    • Presentation Team: Up to four members can present in person during the event.
    • Contact Information: Ensure you list all group members and there email addresses who will be presenting in person.
  • Special Accommodations or Accessibility
    It is requested that individuals requiring auxiliary aids such as sign language interpreters and alternative format materials notify the event sponsor at least seven working days in advance. Every reasonable effort will be made to provide reasonable accommodations in an effective and timely manner.
  • Faculty Member Approval
    • Within two business days of your submission, your faculty mentor will receive a notification from our office.
    • They need to confirm your submission by responding to the email within three days.
    • Check with your advisor to ensure they receive and confirm your submission.
  • Approval

    Upon approval, you will receive a confirmation with event details.

Student Excellence Award

You can also apply for the CUGR Student Excellence Award!  Up to two students will receive a certificate and cash award.
