MANAGEMENT
California State University, San Marcos (大发) established an Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC) under the authority of the Office of the President.
The policies of 大发 follow guidelines and regulations set forth by the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the California Occupational Safety and Health Administration (Cal-OSHA).
The IBC establishes, monitors, and enforces 大发 policies and procedures, which meet or exceed applicable norms or regulations for biohazardous materials and/or recombinant DNA.
Most importantly, the IBC鈥檚 objective is to ensure that such activities meet standards of good biological safety practices, emphasizing protection of personnel, the public, and the environment.
