31st Annual Psychology Student Research Conference

The California State University San Marcos Psychology Department, the ´ó·¢ Chapter of Psi Chi, and the ´ó·¢ Psychology and CHAD Organization invite you to attend and submit your work to the Annual Psychology Student Research Conference. Students from any college or university are welcome to attend and participate!

This is a great opportunity for students to learn about research, graduate school, and career opportunities, build their CV/resume, and have fun all at the same time.

All events will include:

  • A keynote address by , Associate Professor of Translational Medicine in the Department of Translational Medicine at Scripps Research Institute
  • A "Graduate School and Careers in Psychology" panel
  • Student poster and brief (blitz) talk sessions
  • Light refreshments will be served

Submit/Present Your Work

Interested in presenting your research as a poster or brief talk at the conference? Submit your abstract at the link below! While we encourage you to submit/present your work, you do not need to in order to attend the conference – there’s something fun and useful for all who attend! If you are interested in submitting your own work, coursework or lab work counts! Abstracts (~150-word description of your own research or a class project) are due Friday, March 28th, 2025 at 5:00PM.

Parking

If you are planning to drive and park at ´ó·¢, the main Parking Garage (labeled "´ó·¢ Parking Garage" in Google Maps) is probably your best bet. When you arrive at the parking garage, there will be signs posted so that you can digitally purchase a pass (currently $9 for the day, but there may be hourly rates as well). More .
