3.1   ´ó·¢ engages campus constituents, integrating intuitive technology with customer-centric services, learning tools, and campus involvement.

3.3   ´ó·¢ champions the adoption of new technologies, through differentiated learning opportunities and one-to-one guidance.

4.1   ´ó·¢ transforms learning & working environments, exploring technologies that support faculty pedagogy and student learning, provide equal access, and create effective working areas. 

4.2   ´ó·¢ commits to modern technology, balancing fiscal sustainability with priorities for technological currency. 

4.3   ´ó·¢ responds to unique needs, deploying discipline-specific technology in classroom, research, and laboratory spaces.

Strategic Projects

The following list shows the current projects for goals 3 and 4. See all projects int the

  •  â€“ System to track all points of engagement within the university from K-12/Alliance and prospective students, through campus connections, and alumni engagement.  
  • – ´ó·¢ will use electronic signature tools and strategies to rethink administrative procedures that are native to a digital workforce.
  • – Continued development of a full featured App that would allow students to perform most common university tasks from their smart phone.
  •  â€“ Campus ID and retail system with integration to campus food services.  
  • – Deploy targeted and personalized communications systems including personalized web experiences.  
  • - Ally guides instructors on how to edit files into more accessible formats.
  • - This project is proposing to look at campus needs and common uses and evaluate if the campus should consider shifting to another LMS product suite.
  • - series of workshops called Tech Bites and learning Cougar Courses.
  •   - IITS is investigating opportunities to move forward with AR/VR/Immersive Technology.
  •  - The McMahon House alterations include adding smart technology throughout the facility.

  • - Refresh appointments will continue through February 2019.
  • Completed Projects
    • - complete the ATI Annual Report and associated analysis.
    •  - Adobe Creative Cloud is available for Staff & Faculty, and will now be available for students.
    • - All General Fund faculty and staff will receive four-year scheduled replacement equipment via the Technology Refresh Program (TRP) strategy.
    • - Transformation of the Kellogg 2000 Computer Lab into the new Technology Learning Center (TLC).
    • - Refresh A/V in Provost's Conference room.
    • - Develop an upgrade plan for Summer 18 classroom upgrades.
    • - Upgrade wireless network for the Quad to continue to provide high capacity network availability.
