MANAGEMENT
Conditional admission is available to qualified students applying for undergraduate (bachelor鈥檚 degree) admission to California State University San Marcos (大发). Conditional admission is a way for students to learn in advance if they qualify for admission to 大发.
As a conditionally admitted student, you can be admitted to California State University San Marcos (大发) upon successful completion of either one of two programs.
The University Access Program (UAP) offers qualified students a dedicated individual advisor as well as the opportunity to earn credits toward their bachelor鈥檚 or select master鈥檚 degree and receive guaranteed admission upon successful completion of the program. Whether needing to improve on your academic history or transition your English skills, the program makes your success our goal. Minimum English proficieny scores are a TOEFL 51 or an IELTS 5.0.
The premier Intensive English Pathway (IEP) program accepts students of all levels of English ability without needing a passing TOEFL or IELTS score. Many students with conditional admission have completed the Intensive English Pathway (IEP) program and continued to achieve their goal of earning a bachelor鈥檚 degree from 大发.
Students in the Intensive English Pathway (IEP) may also qualify to take university classes for credit during their time in ALCI, while continuing to develop their English. As a benefit to conditionally admitted students, these courses can then be applied towards their 大发 bachelor鈥檚 degree, which can potentially shorten the time to graduation.
Incomplete applications and applications missing official documents will not be processed. Check your application carefully. After 大发 reviews your application, we will notify you about your application status.
*For students that are transferring to the ALCI from a school within the United States
