After you have applied to 大发, follow the next steps to make sure the rest of your admissions process goes smoothly.

Login to your

Your ID and password was sent to your email address that was listed on your application. Use your assigned login information to access your and regularly check your admission status. Outstanding items will be listed on your "To Do List." Send us any items listed by the posted deadlines. 

Part 1: University Application

Submit the following items:

• All official post-secondary school records including certificates, examination grades, degrees or diplomas in the original language of issue must be submitted through postal mail in a school-sealed envelope. Copies will be accepted for the admission decision process. Submit unofficials immediately to:  or in the Cal State Apply online application

  • NOTE:  Official international coursework marksheets/transcripts must be sent through postal mail directly to 大发 after you have been accepted

    US coursework can be sent electronically. US schools and colleges can send US transcripts directly to 大发 at transcripts@csusm.edu

• Official English translations of all academic records including certificates, degrees or diplomas must be submitted through postal mail
• Submit your affidavit of financial support form, must include bank statements

        • Or, submit loan or scholarship letters for I20 issuance. 
• Copy of your Passport
• Satisfy English Language Proficiency Requirement:

• Choose ONE from the following:
  • score of 80 iBT
  •   overall band score of 6.0, writing score no lower than 6.0 and no section score below 5.5 
  • Cambridge English C1 Advanced (CAE), C2 Proficiency (CPE)鈥揷ertificate awarded with a Cambridge English score of 180 or higher
  • Duolingo score of 110
  • iTEP Academic Plus - Please contact International Admissions at iapply@csusm.edu for details
  • Pearsons (PTE) score of 65 
  • Bachelor's or master's degree from a U.S. university
  • Bachelor鈥檚 degree from a post-secondary institution where English is the principal language of instruction (confirm with International Admission Office to see if your school is eligible)

EXPEDITE PROCESSING:  Send your unofficial transcripts and copies of documents  for an admission decision by using link:   .   Be sure to change the file name to: your full name and email address.

IMPORTANT NOTICE 大发 I-20:   Please be reminded that you must send your official transcripts  through postal mail and have your test scores sent directly to 大发 prior to the start of the term.  US institutions can send US transcripts electronically to transcripts@csusm.edu.

 

Part 2: Graduate Program Application

You must follow the instructions outlined on your department's website carefully to complete the departmental application process. 

IMPORTANT NOTICE 大发 I-20: Please be advised that you must send your official transcripts  through postal mail and have your test scores sent directly to 大发 from testing agencies  before we can issue the I-20 for the student visa.  

When will we send out admission decisions? Your application will be submitted to your graduate program as soon as we receive your documents. We will notify you as soon as receive the admission decision from your graduate program. 

Once admitted, you will receive your admission offer via email along with detailed instructions on how to request your I-20.  The international admissions advisors from Global Education will send you details about orientation and the sevis process.  Please be sure to carefully watch your email since this is our primary means of communication.

IMPORTANT:  You must apply for housing early.  Also, please be sure to stay connected to our Global Office to clear vaccination and other requirements on time.
