The Office of Inclusive Excellence has identified four main goals for the ´ó·¢ campus to focus on in 2017-2022.
´ó·¢ will improve institutional access and equity through effective recruitment and retention of diverse students, faculty, staff, and administrators, providing them with equitable and expanded opportunities for success.
Develop students’ skills, knowledge, and abilities to advocate for, lead, and participate in social change, to function and contribute effectively in a diverse and multicultural world, and to understand the role of diversity in their own lives and in society.
Foster and maintain an inclusive, welcoming, campus environment where all campus members thrive and are heard and where differences are considered a collective strength.
Ensure that ´ó·¢â€™s institutional priorities, initiatives, policies, and practices take into account, reflect, and support the university’s goals and expectations for diversity and inclusion.
