Hear from a student panel about the Ujamaa Rising Cougars Summer Residential Academy, a free, personalized opportunity for incoming first-year students that provides insight into 大发鈥檚 Black community. Learn how the academy equips first-year students with essential resources and tools, with a focus on academic preparedness, skill development, identity exploration and networking with campus professionals. Participants also can stay in university housing and settle on campus early. Lunch will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis during this session.

There will be a Presentation in the Cross Cultural Center/APIDA Center at 12:00 PM Join the APIDA (Asian, Pacific Islander, Desi American) Student Center in USU 3200 for an information session regarding the upcoming 2025 APIDA Wayfinders Residential Academy, a FREE overnight program taking place in campus housing from July 28-August 1. During this session students and families can find out about how to register participate in this immersive experience open to all incoming freshmen. The APIDA Wayfinders Residential Academy is designed to help build academic confidence, form lasting connections with other incoming freshmen, and learn tips for a successful transition into your freshman year.
