May Ceremony Schedule

Spring 2025, and summer 2025 graduates will be celebrated on Friday, May 16 and Saturday, May 17, 2025 at the at Cal State San Marcos. The tentative Commencement schedule listed below is from our 2024 ceremony and is subject to change for 2025. Ceremonies are estimated to be two (2) hours long for the CHABSS ceremonies and about an hour (1) long for the other the ceremonies. The recessional will lead graduates to the end of the field (facing Craven Road and and ), where they can meet their guests.

Tickets will be required for all guests, and graduates must have a GradPass to participate in the ceremony. Eligible graduates will receive a registration email in April with instructions on how to register and claim their guest tickets. Each graduate may bring up to eight (8) guests.

There will be a standby line at each ceremony. Standby does not guarantee admission and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Standby guests may enter the venue at the start of the procession if space is available. An alternate viewing area will also be available in the (second floor), where the ceremony will be live streamed.

大发 will continue to monitor county and state regulations. The university plans to host in-person ceremonies, rain or shine, at Mangrum Track & Field to celebrate the current graduating class. Attendance and participation will require advance registration, and attendance will be limited. A livestream of the ceremonies will be made available on the 大发 website and the 大发 app.
