The CEHHS Dean鈥檚 Award is an annual recognition to a graduating student who is earning a Bachelor鈥檚, Master鈥檚 Degree, Doctoral Degree, or Teaching Credential and has demonstrated outstanding academic, service, and/or leadership accomplishments during his/her/their tenure at California State University San Marcos. The student selected by the dean will then be considered for the President鈥檚 Outstanding Graduate Award, the highest award bestowed on a student graduating from California State University San Marcos.
The Dean鈥檚 Award is an annual recognition to a graduating student who is earning a Bachelor鈥檚, Master鈥檚 Degree, Doctoral Degree, or Teaching Credential and has demonstrated outstanding academic, service, and/or leadership accomplishments during his/her/their tenure at California State University San Marcos. The student nominated should not only demonstrate academic distinction but also show a strong record of service to the college, the university, and/or the surrounding community. Given our commitment to educating students who will serve as agents of change in their workplaces or communities, this award signals their accomplishments thus far and our anticipation of their future laudatory contributions as CEHHS alumni.
Each college dean, working with respective faculty and/or staff, is asked to select a student to be recognized with this honor at commencement ceremonies. The student selected by the dean will then be considered for the President鈥檚 Outstanding Graduate Award, the highest award bestowed on a student graduating from California State University San Marcos.

The CEHHS Outstanding Alumni Student Award recognizes an alumnus who has shown great promise early in their career, embodies the College鈥檚 vision of preparing graduates who are agents of change in their workplaces and communities, or achieved significant professional or humanitarian accomplishments.
Annually, each CEHHS department or school may nominate one alumnus who exemplifies the qualities of the graduates we strive to prepare. To this end, we invite departments and schools to identify an alumnus of CEHHS who has either (1) shown great promise early in their career; (2) embodied the College鈥檚 vision of preparing graduates who are agents of change in their workplaces and communities; or (3) achieved significant professional or humanitarian accomplishments. All nominees are also someone who maintains an active relationship with our campus community.
Given our commitment to prepare highly skilled and ethical educators, researchers, health care, human services, and movement specialists who transform their work and community environments, this award signals their accomplishments and thus our laudatory acknowledgment as notable CEHHS alumni.

The CEHHS Student Champion for Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity Award recognizes a CEHHS student for significant contributions to the college and/or university community in the areas of inclusion, diversity, and equity.
The College of Education, Health, and Human Services (CEHHS) bestows an annual award to recognize a CEHHS student for significant contributions to the college and/or university community in the areas of inclusion, diversity, and equity.
The Committee for Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity (CIDE) welcomes nominations, including self-nominations, for current undergraduate and graduate student champions for inclusion, diversity, and equity. A student may be nominated by any member of our community (e.g., faculty, staff, students, community members). This award is granted to an individual who has:

The CEHHS Distinguished Partner Recognition aims to recognize and strengthen our collaborations with organizations that have demonstrated a commitment to our shared goals and values. This award recognizes a community partner that has made exceptional contributions to our college.
The Distinguished Partner Plan for CEHHS is designed to establish a meaningful and mutually beneficial partnership recognition program. Each year, our academic college will have the opportunity to honor and celebrate a community partner that has made exceptional contributions to our college.
