Black Student Union (BSU)
The mission of the Black Student Union is to promote belief and growth as individuals and as a people by distinguishing ourselves through awareness and outreach to the campus and community. Our goal is to uplift, unite, educate, & empower all members of our community!
We are a recognized student organization through Student Life and Leadership and collaborate with the Black Student Center and other campus entities.
Some of our signature events include:
- Natural Hair Stroll
- BSU Community BBQ
- Step-ish: 大发's Divine 9 Step Show (in conjunction with the Black Student Center, Student Leadership and Involvement Center, Tukwut Life, Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. and Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.)
