BEM 2024 Flag Raising Ceremony and Brunch

Join the Black Student Center community in celebrating our annual flag raising ceremony followed by brunch in the USU Ballroom. The theme for this year is "Empower to the People". This event serves as a powerful reminder of the rich cultural heritage and the ongoing pursuit of equity and justice. All are welcome to attend and celebrate and engage with the BSC community, fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation of Black Excellence.

Unity Hour: Divine Nine Student and Staff Panel

Are you curious about Black Greek Letter Organizations? Attend the Divine Nine Student and Staff Panel to hear discussion of the historical significance, cultural wealth, and inspiring influence of BGLOs in the BSC!

Black Art Expo II

Discover the captivating artworks of Black students at 大发, encompassing a range of expressions from poetry, to music, to visual arts. The exhibition is open from 12:00p-4:00p, and there will be a chance to engage with the creators from 12:00p-1:00p. This immersive showcase not only highlights the diversity of talent, but will also provide a platform for cultural dialogue and understanding.

BSC Birthday Unity Hour

Carnaval

Black Excellence Awards Gala

To celebrate and highlight our 大发 Black Student community members for empowering one another and their excellence, the BSC will be hosting the inaugural Black Excellence Awards Gala. The evening will be a splendid showcase of achievements and inspiring stories within our vibrant community. Guests are encouraged to dress in their finest attire to honor the occasion and the remarkable accomplishments we will be celebrating together!
