The Student Transfer Achievement Reform Act (SB 1440) establishes a Transfer Associate of Arts (AA-T) or Associate of Science (AS-T) degree for California Community College students and is designed to provide a clear pathway to the CSU degree major. It allows students to complete an Associate’s degree while satisfying lower division general education and major requirements for transfer at the same time.
It is important that students contact their local community college for information on meeting the requirements for a Transfer Associate of Arts (AA-T) or Associate of Science (AS-T) degree. Note: The eVerify website is for California community college staff to identify a CSU applicant's preliminary ADT degree status. Applicants/students do not have access to the eVerification website.
ADT final verifications must be in the form of an official transcript.
A final official college transcript showing completion of all requirements for admission, including Spring grades, Associate Degree for Transfer (from a community college in California) must be submitted to the Office of Admissions and received no later than 5:00 p.m. on the given deadline.
Fall Term Admission: July 15

Note: For many California community colleges, graduation is not automatic upon the completion of all degree requirements. It is often the student's responsibility to submit a graduation application during published time periods. To avoid delays in the evaluation, degree verification and granting of your AA-T or AS-T degree, be sure to contact your community college for information on how and when to submit your graduation application.

Admission is based on information reported on official transcripts and self-reported information for planned and in-progress coursework from your application. Once you have been conditionally admitted, we verify this information against your final official transcripts. Please make sure to report accurate information.

The California Promise is a commitment by the California State University system to provide pathways to qualifying student populations to earn their degree in two years as an ADT Transfer. By participating in the program’s enhanced academic advising and priority registration, students will be on track to graduate on time, ultimately avoiding extra years of tuition costs.
To participate, students must be entering Transfer students with an Associate Degree for Transfer (ADT) interested in completing their remaining requirements for baccalaureate degrees in two years.
