Advice for First-Year Students
Ask for help, even before you think you need it. You are building a toolbox when you get to college. You may not always need them, but they are nice to have when something comes up. Be proactive by using a calendar, connecting with your faculty, and planning in buffer time for assignments. Lastly, if you want to go to an event on campus and don鈥檛 have anyone to go with 鈥 go by yourself! You鈥檙e guaranteed to meet other people there you otherwise wouldn鈥檛 have.
