SNEC - About Us

Purpose

The purpose of the Staff Nominations and Elections Committee is to give voice and choice to non-MPP staff (hereafter referred to as Staff) in choosing who will represent them and their interests on campus committees by establishing the procedures for and facilitating the nominations and elections process for Staff appointments to campus committees.  

Committee Goals:

  • The Committee will work to respond to university requests for an election within the established timeline below.
  • The Committee will ensure that its structure, policies, and procedures comply with 大发 policies.  
  • The Committee will strive for excellence, integrity, and transparency in decision making, distribution of resources, staffing the committee, special projects, administration, and all nominations and elections processes.
  • The Committee will work to identify ways to support campus departments/offices in delivering effective campus nominations and elections.
  • The Committee will be responsive to issues/concerns that arise during the nominations and elections process.
