Background

Working in higher education is a second career for me after spending many years in the museum field. I hold a Master of Arts in Counseling from the University of San Diego as well as a Master of Arts in Art History from the University of Southern California. I have held several positions within TRIO SSS since 2004 and in 2007, I became the Director.  I am convinced that education is the foundation to building a strong future. I also enjoy spending time with my daughter, celebrating and learning about diversity, appreciate a wide variety of culture events, visual and performing arts, and collecting original World War I era posters.
