Accessing Your Student's Records

´ó·¢ must conform with the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) of 1974 and does not grant you automatic access to your student's academic records and information. If your student wishes to share information about their student account to you, they must grant authorization from their Student Center.

´ó·¢ maintains various student records to document academic progress (including student account details). While we understand that parents or guardians often have deep-rooted interests in charges and payments that appear on their student’s account, ´ó·¢ must conform with the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (FERPA), which protects students’ rights to privacy.

To comply with FERPA, ´ó·¢ cannot share any specific information related to their academic records (including their student account details) without prior consent by the student. Student Financial Services is only permitted to discuss a student’s account if the student has specifically identified an individual by completing the Authorization to Release form, located in their Student Center.

Important: When completing the Authorization to Release form online, students have multiple options as to the data they authorize to share. If they want to share their student account information, they must indicate that on the form for Student Financial Services to be able to share information with a parent or guardian.

Make a Tuition Payment

Parents or guardians can make a payment on behalf of a student by obtaining a Parent Pin. Once confirmation of the Parent Pin has been received, parents or guardians can make payments online 24/7. Credit Card payments are charged a 2.65% convenience fee. E-check payments are free.
