GUIDELINES
Cal State San Marcos recognizes annually outstanding faculty in areas of teaching, scholarship and service. To nominate a current 大发 Faculty member for one of the awards listed, please review the guidelines for eligibility requirements and the nomination process.

- SEP 03: Call for nominations
- OCT 07: Deadline for nominations
- OCT 28: Dossiers due
- NOV 22: Award Selection Committee recommendation due to the President
- DEC 13: Campus announcement
- JAN 16, 2025: 大发 Awards & Service Celebration
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
- Where can I find information on what is required for the dossier?Dossier requirements may be found in each of the respective award guidelines.
- When are dossiers due?All dossiers should be submitted electronically to presidentialawards@csusm.edu by October 28, 2024.
- Can I include items other than Word and PDF documents in my dossier?Yes, but please remember that all dossiers must be delivered electronically to presidentialawards@csusm.edu and that the committee has a limited time to review documents. Most of the awards limit the submission content, please refer to the guidelines.
- What is considered an appendix item for the dossier?
Examples of appendix items might be student evaluations or a PowerPoint presentation. Items should help serve as back-up to the narrative essay.
- Who makes the final decision for each award?The President makes the final decision after reviewing the recommendations made by the selection committees.
- When will the announcement go out as to whom has been chosen?The awards will be announced before the December winter break.
