Latino Graduate Recognition

The Latino Cultural Recognition Celebration is a special ceremony honoring graduating students at California State University San Marcos. This ceremony is voluntary and open to all graduating students who wish to participate, regardless of race, sex, color, ethnicity, or national origin.

Hosted and sponsored by the Latino Association of Faculty & Staff (LAFS) in collaboration with campus programs and departments, this event recognizes the achievements of our graduates in a culturally enriching way. Held annually in early May, this event is made possible through the dedication of our donors, campus collaborators, volunteers, and LAFS members. We appreciate your continued support in making this recognition a success!

This ceremony is separate from and does not replace the official University Commencement. Graduates are encouraged to participate in both celebrations.
