Welcome to Cougars Cooking for Wellness!! As part of the HOPE & Wellness Center's initiative to educate students about healthy living, we hope that this brand new resource for students can initiate conversations about eating healthy and inspire students to share their favorite recipes that are nutritious, quick and easy.
If you are tired of eating the same foods every day and wanting to improve your nutrition habits, look no further. With Cougars Cooking for Wellness, you can find information to eat better, recipes, tips on making your own meals, and cooking demonstration videos that are easy to follow. From learning how to make smoothies, air fryer chicken or even an instant pot soup, we are here to help you learn how to cook a new dish!

CalFresh, known federally as the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), is a program that gives funds to eligible persons for groceries. As a 大发 student, and depending on your information, you may be eligible for a monthly food benefits. These funds come in a form of an EBT card. to see if you're eligible!
The ASI Cougar Pantry serves all 大发 students to decrease food insecurity on campus.
The pantry stocks a variety of dry and canned goods, limited produce, milk, toiletries,
and diapers. Each currently enrolled 大发 student can visit the ASI Cougar Pantry
in Commons 104 to shop once a week for free groceries!
There are also Cougar Pantry On-the-Go that offers snacks and produce in mini fridges
at 10 spaces on campus.
