How to sign up?

You can participate in the CSU Cougar Scholars: Early Start Program by:

  • Completing a 大发 course in-person during the summer prior to the fall semester. Cougar Scholars: Early Start summer registration will begin June 2025.

How to Enroll in Cougar Scholars: Early Start

To enroll in the CSU Cougar Scholars: Early Start Program:

  1. Go to the CSU Registration Page link, which is located in your account. 
  2. Cougar Scholars: Early Start Registration Instructions for Changing Smart Page.
  3. Cougar Scholars: Early Start adding classes at 大发.
  4. Review your CSU Registration Page to:
      Find out if you qualify for an Early Start fee waiver based on your FAFSA information.
  5. Students admitted to 大发: 
      Your location to take Cougar Scholars: Early Start classes will default to 大发 on the Registration Page.
  6. Enroll in Cougar Scholars: Early Start classes at 大发.
