Alycia McGeever

Alycia McGeever (she/her)

Assistant Director

Alycia is a UC Irvine alum with a Sociology and Education Sciences BA. She then received her Master's in Postsecondary Educational Leadership from San Diego State. She started her Student Affairs career at 大发 as a Graduate Assistant in 2019 and as a full time professional in 2021! Her contributions have been instrumental in shaping the center's direction, including chairing the Women's Leadership Summit and establishing a volunteer program. Alycia has also taken the lead in organizing large-scale events, further solidifying her commitment to advancing the WGEC's mission. Working at the WGEC is a dream come true as it combines her love of intersectional feminism and student advocacy! Her previous experience with organizations such as Girl Scouts and Girls Incorporated underscores her commitment to empowering young women and instilling belief in their potential. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, spending time with loved ones, exploring new food spots, and baking. 

Isabel Martinez

Isabel Martinez (she/her/ella)

Peer Coordinator 

Isabel is a second-generation Latina college student from Ramona, CA, proudly following in the footsteps of the strong Latinas in her family who paved the way for her. Currently studying Psychology with a minor in Dance at 大发, she aspires to earn her master鈥檚 degree and become a school psychologist, focusing on supporting students on the autism spectrum. Isabel began her journey at the Women and Gender Equity Center as a Peer Educator and is excited to take on the role of Peer Coordinator for the 2024-2025 academic year. Passionate about intersectional feminism, she is dedicated to creating a brave space for underrepresented communities at the WGEC. In her free time, Isabel enjoys thrifting, dancing, binge-watching her favorite shows, and spending quality time with friends and family. 

Cameron Munn

Cameron Munn (he/they)

Program & Outreach Specialist

Cameron is a second year student from Dallas, Texas. Cameron has a long history of advocating for marginalized people in educational settings.  They are currently studying Political Science with a minor in Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies at 大发. Cameron aspires to attain his Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from Law School and become a practicing Attorney in Public Policy, fighting for legal and civil rights for marginalized people through organizations like the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) or the Human Rights Campaign (HRC). Cameron began his journey in Student Life as a Peer Educator for the Pride Center, before beginning his work at the WGEC. Cameron also currently serves as the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Representative for the ASI Board of Directors, and as an officer of the Pre-Law Honor Society! Additionally, Cameron is also passionate about education, critical thinking, activism, politics and Intersectional Feminism. Through their work at the WGEC they desire to make the space as intentional and empowering as possible! In their free time, Cameron enjoys hiking, reading fantasy books, and watching comfort shows like Gilmore Girls and Gossip Girl!
