Resources for Allies

Campus and community allies play a vital role in supporting the success of undocumented and AB 540 students. These resources are designed to help allies stay informed, build awareness, and effectively provide support.

What is AB 540?

AB 540 is a California law that helps students who meet certain criteria pay in-state tuition rates at public colleges and universities. It provides a non-resident tuition exemption, making college more affordable for eligible students.

UndocuAlly Training

The Dreamer Resource Office (DRO)’s UndocuAlly Training is designed for staff, faculty, and student leaders. This training delves into the experiences of undocumented and mixed-status students and provides practical tools to support them.

The goal is to equip allies with the knowledge and resources needed to foster a campus environment that empowers and uplifts undocumented students, promoting their success and sense of belonging.

The UndocuAlly Training is offered via Zoom. Upcoming dates include:

  • Friday, February 7 – 9am to 12pm –
  • Friday, April 11 – 9am to 12pm –
