Central Plan Expansion and Thermal Energy Storage Tank
The Central Plant provides heating and cooling to the buildings on campus. The Central Plan consists of four boilers, a 1300-ton chiller, a 1300-ton cooling tower, a 1.3 million gallon Thermal Energy Storage Tank which reduces energy costs by using the chilled water in this tank during peak demand times on campus.
