Campus Moves and Reconfigurations is responsible for managing the following:

  • Occupant Relocation including furniture, computers and boxes
  • Furniture Removal or Relocation
  • Heavy Equipment Moves
  • Office or Suite Reconfiguration
  • Furniture Requests and Purchases

Campus Moves & Reconfigurations Process

The process for Campus Moves and Reconfigurations is outlined below:

  1. Once an online request for Campus Moves & Reconfigurations is received it will be reviewed by the Moves team.
  2. A scope review meeting is scheduled - if necessary.
  3. A proposed layout is sent to the requester for approval - if necessary.
    • The final layout must be approved before proceeding to the next step.
  4. A budget estimate is sent to the requester for approval.
    • The budget estimate must have a completed chartfield and be approved before proceeding to the next step.
  5. Furniture is ordered, delivered, installed and/or moved.

Campus Moves & Reconfigurations - Fiscal Year End (FYE) Deadlines

(Exact dates TBD annually)

February 2025

Last Day to submit Campus Moves requests that will include new furniture order.

  • Only Move requests for reconfigurations with existing or surplus modular or furniture after this date.

April  2025

Last Day to submit Campus Moves requests for reconfigurations of any modular furniture.

  • Only Move requests to move furniture after this date, no reconfigurations.
  • Only Move requests with existing (non-modular) furniture after this date.

May 2025

Campus Moves requests not available after this date until the following July 01.

  • Only completion of existing Moves until the following July 01.
  • All new Campus Moves requests will begin after the following July 01.
