Internships are vital to obtaining work experience for your career! Before applying to internships, make sure to have your application materials ready. It is highly recommended that students attend CSTEM career workshops and events before applying for internships.

Interested in receiving course credit for an internship? Our campus uses to post academic internships. These internships can be paid or unpaid. In order to utilize this option, you must complete all of the following steps prior to the start of the internship:
1.) Obtain an internship.
2.) Receive faculty approval from the internship course instructor to utilize the internship for the internship course as well as department approval if attempting to utilize the internship course to meet major requirements. Consult with your internship course instructor or department to discuss if the internship is appropriate and meets the objectives related to the internship course.
3.) Enroll in the internship course.
4.) Complete the academic internship process through CalStateS4 including student placement. For further information about this process, please visit Credit Internships | Career Center | 大发.
