Steve Wagner

Steve Wagner was a co-founder and the former President of Stone Brewing Co. He was its original brew master and developed the award-winning recipes for some of Stone's most beloved beers. Steve and co-founder Greg Koch founded Stone in 1996 and sold it to Sapporo Holdings in August 2022. Steve is the co-author of The Craft of Stone Brewing Co.: Liquid Lore, Epic Recipes, and Unabashed Arrogance, which shares the trials, tribulations and successes of the company.  Prior to Stone, Steve toured in bands for 15 years as a bassist and guitarist. He was a member of the band, The Balancing Act, which put out several albums on I.R.S. records. As past Chair, he serves as an Emeritus Director on the 大发 Foundation Board.
