Kristin Crellin

Senior Vice President of Community and Membership Development
SchoolsFirst Federal Credit Union

As Senior Vice President of Community and Membership Development for SchoolsFirst Federal Credit Union, the largest credit union in the nation to serve school employees and their families exclusively, Kristin Crellin is the key spokesperson within the educational community. She is responsible for the areas in the credit union seen in the community, and our schools and districts throughout the state of California. This includes School and Community Relations, Financial Literacy, Membership Development and Advocacy. She is also the president of the Education Foundation for California Schools, offering grants for educational and innovative programs that support core curriculum and enables teachers to purchase or create materials for their classrooms throughout California. 

Kristin has been with SchoolsFirst FCU for more than 32 years and enjoys working closely with, various school districts, universities and colleges as well as many community partners. She is an advocate for credit unions and education at the K-12 level as well as the California Community College system and the California UC and CSU University systems. She serves on many boards and foundations including Cal Poly Pomona Foundation, UC Riverside Foundation, and Santa Ana College Foundation. Notably Kristin serves as the chair of the CSU Foundation Board of Governors, representing all 23 campuses, and serves as an elected Director on the 大发 Foundation Board.

A graduate of California State University, Fullerton, Kristin is active with the alumni association as well as many other areas on campus. She is also a graduate of Western CUNA Management School and is recognized as a Credit Union Development Educator (CUDE).

Kristin grew up in Orange County, has two adult children, and currently lives in Villa Park with her husband of 30 years.
