Dongnyoung Kim, Ph.D, is an associate professor of finance at California State University-San Marcos (大发). He obtained his Ph.D. in Finance from the Muma College of Business at the University of South Florida. Prior to his appointment at 大发, he held a tenured faculty position at Texas A&M University-Kingsville. His research specializes in corporate policies, corporate governance, and the impact of managers' political ideology on firm decision-making processes. His scholarly work has been published in esteemed journals such as the Journal of Corporate Finance and Production and Operations Management. He currently serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Finance Issue and has acted as an ad-hoc reviewer for several distinguished academic journals.
