Personal Packages

Services provided by Distribution Services are for the delivery and pickup of official university packages, mail and intercampus correspondence only.  Official university packages and mail shall be defined as that required to further the purpose of the university and is limited to items necessary for the conduct of the sender鈥檚 official university responsibilities.  Shipping or mailing of personal items by CSU San Marcos personnel constitutes the misuse of state resources and violates state policy. 

Notes regarding personal packages

  • Distribution Services cannot process your personal packages.  We ship using a state account, then charge back the corresponding departments at the end of each month.  Personal packages should be taken to the vendor and transactions completed on your personal time.
  • Non-university related packages and or personal mail should not be sent to 大发.  Please redirect personal packages and mail being received on campus to your home address.  Alternatives to using your home address include shipping to the UPS Store, FedEx Office or the US Post Office as a 鈥淗OLD鈥 for personal pickup.  Amazon lockers are also available check online for locations nearest you.   
  • Distribution Services cannot be held responsible for replacing damaged or missing contents of personal, non-university related packages that were delivered to campus.  It is the sole responsibility of the purchaser, to contact the vendor and work toward replacement or reimbursement.
