New Student & Family Convocation - August
You’re invited to the New Student & Family Convocation — a spirited celebration welcoming you into the Cougar family. Join us inside the Sports Center as you hear from university leaders, connect with families and fellow students, and participate in the ceremonial Cougar Coin Challenge. Complimentary sweet treat(s) and community-based welcomes will follow the formal program. This free event is open to all incoming first year and transfer students and their families. Family Weekend - October
Family Weekend is an in-person, fun-filled series of events and opportunities for families to join their students on campus at ´ó·¢. Family weekend is scheduled within the critical first nine weeks of the fall semester to welcome families back to campus. Families are encouraged to explore via campus tours and open houses, academic lectures and demonstrations, and join their student in events showcasing ´ó·¢â€™s arts, athletics, alumni and more!
