Our student body – 17,000 strong – brings a wealth of experiences, backgrounds and perspectives, which makes our University and our region stronger.

Nearly half of our students come from traditionally underrepresented backgrounds, including former foster youth, American Indians and veterans. More than half of our students are first-generation college students.
