STEM Safari

With funding from the Rosemary Kraemer Raitt Foundation, CRESE is developing a mobile 鈥淪TEM Safari鈥� experience that will provide hands-on opportunities for youth to engage their interest, excitement, and curiosity about STEM. The 大发 STEM Safari will include a wide array of standards-aligned activities facilitated by 大发 students.

Designed to be mobile, STEM Safari activities will be transported to school sites and community centers, then set up like a fair that students can explore. Several hundred students can participate in the STEM Safari in an afternoon. We are piloting the STEM Safari at the North City Farmer's Market every Tuesday evening during summer 2024.
