FAQ for Internships

• I am interested in an internship at the CCF. How do I get started?
   You should make an appointment with the Director of the Center for Children and Families.  You will meet with her to see if she has room for you as an intern, and to see if the place is a good fit for you both. 
• After I have met with the director, what should I do next?
  All student interns must be sponsored by a university faculty member.  Your sponsoring faculty member must fill out a Participation and Internship Request Form (Level 2) and submit it to Dr. Haylee DeLuca Bishop, the University Liaison to the Center for Children and Families.  This can be placed in her mailbox at SBSB 3222 or submitted as a PDF e-mail attachment.
• What other requirements are there?

  You will need to submit two letters of reference to Dr. Haylee DeLuca Bishop, the University Liaison to the Center for Children and Families.  These can be placed in her mailbox at SBSB 3222 or submitted as a PDF e-mail attachment.

  You will also need to get fingerprinted (live scan), and have a TB test.  You should work with the  Director of CCF, to help you with this process.
