Internship Expectations

Two years of free tuition and fees guaranteed for interns
Receive a monthly stipend in addition to tuition and fee support
Letters of recommendations from mentors
Career goal guidance through individualized, specialized mentoring
Engagement in patient advocacy and community engagement activities
In-depth development of research skills, specifically related to life sciences and/or regenerative medicine
Present at scientific meetings
Diversity, equity and inclusion training

Work in the host lab on a part-time basis; a minimum of 10 hours/week, including some weekends and evenings for 2 years
Participate in summer research experiences after each Spring semester for a total of 2 summers
Attend lab meetings
Fully participate in patient advocacy and community outreach activities
Receive diversity, equity and inclusion training
Receive specialized mentoring activities
Be enrolled full time in �� courses
