APIDA-FSA is the Asian Pacific Islander Desi American Faculty & Staff Association at California State University San Marcos. We welcome all who are interested in participating, regardless of race, sex, color, ethnicity or national origin.

Our mission is to foster a supportive and inclusive environment for faculty, staff, and students by promoting professional development, community engagement, and awareness of Asian, Pacific Islanders, and Desi culture. We aim to build connections, celebrate diverse traditions, and contribute to an enriching campus experience through activities and  education.

Our Purpose: 

• Engage with the APIDA community of faculty, staff, and students on campus 
• Sponsor and host the APIDA Cultural Recognition Celebration each May 
• Promote a diverse and inclusive campus environment 
• Support student organizations 
• Promote scholarship programs and events to support students 
• Collaborate with external partners, such as the San Diego Asian Film Festival
