Parking

Please check your confirmation email to find information on your event location. You can view the interactive campus map to find your venue.

´ó·¢ Visitors

Paid parking sessions are required at all times when parked on campus. Parking enforced 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Tips for purchasing a parking session:

  • Ensure license plate is entered correctly
  • Do not mix up the letter "O" with the number "0"
  • Don't have a license plate? Type in the last 4 digits of your vehicles VIN in the "Plate #" field

Permits & Pricing

Unless your event has specific parking reserved, daily/hourly permits may be purchased using the PayByPhone app. Download the PayByPhoneApp, access the app through the ´ó·¢ App, or visit.

  • 2 hours: $4.00
  • 4 Hours: $6.00
  • All Day: $9.00

CSU San Marcos is conveniently located in North San Diego County — only a short drive from the City of San Diego, Riverside County and Orange County. The campus is easily accessed from Interstates 5 and 15:

From Interstate 5

  • From Interstate 5, merge onto eastbound Highway 78
  • Drive approximately 14 miles on eastbound Highway 78, then exit at Twin Oaks Valley Road
  • Turn right to go south on Twin Oaks Valley Road
  • After approximately .3 miles, turn left onto E. Barham Drive
  • Make your first right onto Campus Way
  • Head to the top of the hill and make a left at the light onto Campus View Drive
  • You will see the 6-story parking structure in front of you
  • Please park on the 6th floor in the roped-off and event parking designated section only to avoid a parking ticket

From Interstate 15

  • From Interstate 15, merge onto westbound Highway 78
  • Drive approximately 4.5 miles on westbound Highway 78, then exit at Twin Oaks Valley Road
  • Turn left to go south on Twin Oaks Valley Road
  • After approximately .3 miles, turn left onto E. Barham Drive
  • Make your first right onto Campus Way
  • Head to the top of the hill and make a left at the light onto Campus View Drive
  • You will see the 6-story parking structure in front of you
  • Please park on the 6th floor in the roped-off and event parking designated section only to avoid a parking ticket
