DEAN'S AWARD WINNER 2014

Lilibeth Flores

We are very pleased to announce the Dean's Award winner for 2014, Lilibeth Flores.

Lilibeth鈥檚 work as a researcher, teaching assistant, and community service volunteer demonstrate her passion about and dedication to psychological research. A first generation college student, Flores emigrated with her family from Oaxaca, Mexico as a child and was determined to earn a college degree.

In addition to earning one of the highest GPA鈥檚 among graduating psychology majors, Lilibeth distinguished herself as a scholar in the MARC U STAR program, which helps prepare qualified undergraduate minority students majoring in the sciences to enter and succeed in doctoral studies. Her research, student mentorship, and many service activities have had a significant impact in the laboratory, the classroom, and in the community.

Lilibeth was one of six outstanding graduates in the Class of 2014 in May.

We wish Lilibeth success and best wishes as she continues her education and research in developmental psychopathology. Congratulations!
