ViaSat, an international communications company, is hosting speed interviewing for students. This event is aimed at providing our young professionals with tools to answer career questions and learn how a �� degree will launch our students towards their careers.

Soft Skills Workshop: Land that Job!

This will be an exciting workshop aimed at developing interview and interpersonal communication skills. There will be emphasis on developing self-promotion and negotiation skills as they relate to the job search and interview process.

Our 2013-14 noontime employer panel series featured talks about participants’ career paths, followed by a Q&A session. Students who signed up early were treated to a free lunch with the panelists—a great opportunity for networking and, in some cases, a chance to hear from human resources professionals about their expectations of applicants.
